In the Illinois State Senate, Barack Obama voted against the "Born-Alive Infants Protection Act" (BAIPA) bill twice in committee and once on the Senate floor. The measure was very similar to the federal BAIPA, which President Bush signed into law in 2002. New documents just obtained by NRLC
